LIFT ME UP LAYOUT

Here is my layout for the Lift Me Up challenge with Karla Dudley! I love how it turned out! I lifted one of Stephanie Semple's layouts. I love the vertical photos and the numbers she used under her photos. It made me think of my children because we will have number 6 sometime in September. Life is truly wonderful and I need to remember to have faith that things work out according to Heavenly Fathers plan and I do not need to worry about the details to a certain extent.

I HEART FACES SUNFLARE ENTRY!

Here is my entry for the Sun Flare contest! It is funny how this photo actually happened. I had not realized someone had touched the lens until after I downloaded these to my computer. The oil from someone's hand created the rainbows and the flare happened naturally. It was such a lucky shot for me. I was not even trying to get this effect. I am quite happy with the mood it set for the Fourth of July!

February Birthdays

We have a lot of birthday's in February. I am posting some pictures of Jakob and Aliyah's friend birthdays here on my blog. I still have a hard time thinking that Jakob is really 15 now! His voice is deeper and he is taller than me! That part is not so hard but it makes me realize he is growing up and I am not quite ready for it. He can now get a learners permit to drive. I know he is a good driver and I will not need to worry about that, but it seems to be difficult letting him grow up. He is my firstborn and gets to do everything first so I never know quite what to expect. Aliyah on the other hand turned 9! She had a ton of friends over to the house and they played games for her birthday. She was so excited about having everyone over and what fun they were going to have. She is by far my most social child. She is getting older but still enjoys playing with Lyndsey with the Littlest Pet Shop. She has not been into dolls or Barbies since she was about three. I am so grateful to have such wonderful children who make my life complete. They are such a blessing to have. I just want to enjoy this time and each stage as it comes.

I wanted to share a picture of all of the hats that I and my friend Monique have knitted for the Caps For Good Charity. I think we have over 30 so far! I am so excited to send these off with the others from the Relief Society. I think of the newborn babies lives we will be saving while I am knitting these.
